🌎 Committed Listener for the MIT Media Lab Course How to Grow (Almost) Anything 2024.

I am a biodesigner, researcher, and amateur biologist, holding a master’s degree in Bio-Integrated Design from The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London (UCL).

I am passionate about blending biology, design, and digital fabrication aimed at introducing innovative solutions to enhance regenerative design in the Built Environment.

Besides that, I love the mountains, learning languages, and making funky tea. If we ever meet — I will make you a spicy chili tea with pineapples 🌶️

Current Research:

Currently, I teach at SDU University (Kazakhstan) Design For Manufacturing with a strong on biomimicry and biodesign. I am also a guest lecturer at Bilgi University in Istanbul.

I am working as a co-curator for BioArt iGEM exhibition in collaboration with Nazarbayev University.

I am focusing on researching using non-woven textiles (as my nomadic ancestors did) for architecture with a twist in biology.
