I am a computer scientist and a biology enthusiast. I finished my Ph.D. in computer science in 2013 at the University of Oregon and then worked at Amazon as a Senior Software Engineer for 7.5 years. Around 2021 I got interested in Biology in general and in Synthetic Biology in particular. So I moved to Boston and started working at Elevatebio, which is a biotech startup. I also started taking biology courses through the Harvard Extension School. I am interested in studying consciousness through brain organoids and psychedelics. I am taking HTGAA’24 to learn synthetic biology so I can start growing brain organoids.
