Hi! I’m a senior undergraduate in the MIT Department of Physics. Over the years I’ve worked a variety of odd projects loosely relating to sustainability, from cooking high-entropy oxides while irradiating them with the planet’s brightest X-ray source to observe their formation, to developing computer vision tools to study the shattering of frozen deuterium for nuclear fusion reactors, to “burning” rice husks and other biomass for biochar. I recognize biology as a powerful tool, but (for now) I know basically nothing about it. Let’s see if I can change that!
