I’m scientist-turned-artist exploring the intersection of biology, sound, and music by creating art that incorporates biological sources. My work centers on developing and performing alongside a new kind of 'living' instruments to meditate on posthumanism, multi-agency intelligence, and our relationships with manipulated living systems. In the search to link scientific innovation with musical comprehensibility, my work spans techniques including biotechnology, sound design, and live performance.
