I am a passionate Interdisciplinary Designer, Researcher and Biodesigner looking at the opportunities in blurring the lines between nature, architecture and design.
My work focuses on working with living organisms like mycelium, algae or bacteria, seeking solutions and innovation that promote collaboration with nature integrating scientific research and material study.

I am currently a Senior Scientist at the University of Innsbruck in the faculty of Experimental Architecture, creating new studio - Integrative Design | EXTREMES, where I am teaching and leading research projects seeking innovative and sustainable solutions to enhance regenerative design in the Built Environment,.
Focusing on digital fabrication and assembly of biomaterials my research focus on multi-material, biohybrid systems. On daily basis, I work across laboratory, design studio and workshop, integrating biological processes, living organisms within design application though novel technologies and means of fabrication, with 3D printing or robotics.
