In recent years, AI-driven protein design tools, such as AlphaFold and RoseTTAFold, have revolutionized the protein design field. In this lab students learn to use these protein design tools as well as the skills needed to evaluate and refine their protein models, including:
And further learn how to design proteins towards desired physicochemical properties.
The protein design lab will be entirely in-silico, so you’ll be using your computers and run a variety of models to test different protein designs. There is no in-person lab this week.
